Supplier Invitation process: Button removed to help prevent creation of duplicate suppliers (effective 07/23/20)

The current process for inviting suppliers to Buy-to-Pay has resulted in the creation of many duplicate suppliers. To minimize this going forward, the Invite New Supplier to Register button has been removed when a duplicate supplier has been detected. If the user still needs to pursue the invite, they should contact the Supplier On-boarding Team for further assistance (ap_supplieronboarding@harvard.edu).

Supplier Portal button removed

Welcome screen has been refreshed (effective 07/22/20)

The wording and layout of the welcome screen has been refreshed, and the updated screenshots will be reflected in the ‘B2P Supplier Registration Experience’ guide.

Clarification added that Zelle app does not work overseas (effective 07/22/20)

The guidance in the ‘Payment Information’ section of the supplier registration process has been updated to add clarity. In particular, a bullet has been added to highlight that “The Zelle app does not work overseas even if you do have a US phone number and US bank account.”

 

Clarification on Fulfillment vs Remittance (effective 07/22/20)

The guidance in the ‘Addresses’ section has been reworded to provide more clarity on what fulfillment and remittance addresses are intended for. The new wording can be seen in the screenshot below.
